Our Location

The Pod is situated in the quiet, rural grounds beside our new build home in Kinloid on the outskirts of the popular village of Arisaig on the West Coast of Scotland. We will leave you to enjoy your stay but are on hand nearby should you need anything at all.

Only a few minutes drive away you will find several fabulous white sandy beaches accessed by the nearby coastal road.

Arisaig village is just a short walk away where you can find the local pub, restaurants, café, local Spar general shop, gift shop and boat trips are available from the local Marina. Mallaig is around a ten minute drive away and a Co-op, community hub and post office, takeaways, bakery, restaurants and gift shops, as well as ferries to the islands and boat trips to Knoydart.

The pod is also right beside the West Highland train line where guests have sought after views of the famous Jacobite (Harry Potter) steam train. Don't worry, though, it's not a busy line, with only a few trains a day.

The pod also benefits from lovely sea views over to Sleat Point on Skye. You will also be able to spot local wildlife from the pod decking, including several deer and even an Eagle who has been known to land in the garden on occasion!

Directions and Getting Around

Sleat View Pod is located on the Kinloid Road, just off the A830 after Arisaig. Turn right past Arisaig when travelling from Fort William where it is signposted "Kinloid" (don't follow SatNav). Continue for a short distance until you see a sign for "Sleat View" on the left. Free parking is available right beside the pod. There is space for one vehicle.

Car is the best method of transport for exploring the area. Although we are able to offer pick ups from Arisaig train station which is only a few minutes away, if requested in advance.
